Fine Soap
Wednesday Advertising Day.
Once you have hanle on Lou Fine's commerical style, he becomes quite easy to spot. I prviously thought his work in advertising comics stopped in 1954/55 when his big acoounts had run their course, but these late samples show he at least retained some new clients. I still have a gap for 1956/57, but later in the fifties he turns up doing illustrations for The Pictorial Review, before starting his first soap opera strip Adam Ames.
