I have about half of his work on Prize Comics Western. I want to scan those books fir the Digital Comics Museum and sell them afterwards. At my tempo that might take a year to happen.
I just went to the Ilovecomics archive and I am amazed at hiw far they gave come. I opened the Beetle Bailey file and found almost complete years for 1953 and 1955 ... In amazing color!
And as for Prize Comcis Wester, I see now that they do have all of them at the Digital Comics Museum! So if it is scan you want, go there. If you want real books, I am going to sell mine.
John Severin deserves a book or an anthology all on his. A truly great artist. Do you have any of his "American Eagle" material?
ReplyDeleteJust to let you know the www.ilovecomixarchive.com is back online again and is much improved. -Steven C.

ReplyDeleteSteve, I like the archives, but sometimes I wish they had more from other sources than my blog... :-)
