Jumping forward a bit to cover Mort Meskin's period at Simon and Kirby's Mainline, we turn with two stories in Headline #63. The first showing a bit more detail to the work than when we left him a year ago - the good side of Meskin's mid fifties period - the second more stylized and formulaic - the bad side of his later work for Prize.
Always something to like in Meskins work. His work which looks too rushed in the comic medium, would be perfect for storyboards. I think he ended up doing some storyboards much later in his career.
