History Duff

Sunday Al Williamson Surprise.

Well, I forgot to do this one last week, so here it is anyway. I will be doin ga new one in two days. It is a lesser effort, not only because it was inked rather blandly (by someone like George Woodbridge or Gray Morrow or maybe even George Evans) but laso because it is a rather dull tale. Interesting to see how in the fifth panel on page two this type of inking makes Williamson's work look more like that of John Prentice - for whom he would pencil Rip Kirby in the late forties - before taking over Secret Agent X9 in a similar style.
