Sunday Al WIlliamson Surprise.
Apparently, the seven page story I showed last week was not by Williamson (despite being credited to him) but by Al Torres - and the arrow sing was in fact an Al Torres signature I had never seen before. This week I have a shorter story that definitively by Williamson (and probably not by Stan Lee). On the first page the inking seems less wispy and less influoenced by Fran Frazetta and Roy Krenkel and more like the slicker Raymond and Prentice inspired line he would later adopt. But on epage two (and to a lesser extent page three) the lighter style returns and it even looks as if Krenkel himself worked on those buildings.
