They Should Be On TV
Saturday Leftover Day.
Last week I showed you a couple of pages from the British magazine Film Fun featuring Tommy Cooper. Here are two other old comedy favorites in a complete four page story: Tony Hancock and Syd James.

TV Fun
Friday Comic Book Day.
Around 1960, if you were a bit of a comedian, you got your own comic strip in Film Fun or Radio Fun. These slapstick tales of mayhem aren't always the most original and the role of the comedian is almost the same in everyone, but the likenesses are great and the artists were among the best of Britain at that time. Here are two of my favorite comedians, Tommy Cooper and Tony Hancock.
