I love Brer Rabbit. In the sixties the Sundays of this strip were collected into an album here in Holland and it was one of the first books that made me cry. A story about Brer Rabbit faking his own death and all his friends gathering together to remember him... sad, sad stuff. The early years of this strip were drwn by Dick Moores and are of a touh above the others, but that one story just got to me.
