Monday New Stuff Day.
Looking at the Povidence Journal for another strip, I discovered they had theor own Sunday magazine section. In it, I found a regular cartoon feature called Today's Laughs. They are copyrighted for the Chicago Tribune Syndicate, so I guess they were the ones who put it together for one of their magazines. There are only a few artists represented, but all of them worked and sold their stuff in New York. SO I guess they must have had their own buyer somewhere.

Ha Ha Funny
Monday Cartoon Day.
Here is a slection of cartoons from what I would call the mid range of American cartoonists from the late forties and early fifties. Dependable, but maybe a bit safe. They were often not classy enough for The New Yorker and not dirty enough for the girlie magazines (although most of them ended up there in the late fifties).
