Tuesday Comic Ad Day.
I have a lot of new advertising ads to show, but I am still scanning them. So today I am giving my usual comic strip day over to more ads, this time an interesting series of ads done by Dik Browne before he was asked to do Hi and Lois.
After that two Mentholeum ads with what seems to be another Browne addition.
But we can never be sure. Here are a few samples of a later Smith Borthers ad in a similar style. The first few are signed by Gill Fox the later ones by Bill Williams. Like Browne and Fox, Williams worked for Johnstone and Cushing and like them he later worked for Boy's Life as well.
