Tuesday Comic Strip Day.
A couple of days ago I gathered all Sunday comics I could find for my birthday of March 15 1959. Today I am adding a couple papers worth of color versions. I do have some more, but they'll have to wait until I can scan them. Still, they'll look nice in the line-up, which you will able to see if you follow the tag I am going to ad.

Late in answering, but I mak all color scans myself from my own collection. One of these days I should start selling the sections again. By the way, I just got a color Puck for March 15 1959, so I will be adding more here.

I periodically do searched for "Kevin the Bold" comics and I came across your blog. KTB's illustrator was my grandfather, and i am trying to collect all of the comics he did, 1948-1972. I have a complete set of his first strip, "Mitzy McCoy" (1948-1950), and want to start blogging that. The KTBs ran so long, I have too many holes in my collection. But we'll see.

Hi, Brian. I'd love to see Mitzy and if I can give you any advise on blogging, please ask. I do have many samples of Kevin the Bold in my collection. Maybe together we can do at least one post with a complete story. Leave your email adres on the most recent blog post and I'll see it within a day, remove it and email you.
Good morning! I'm very pleased to see these very nice scans, especially the Kevin the Bold strip. I was named after it, and read it from the late sixties until its demise, so it's of special interest to me. I was fortunate that my grandmother habitually saved any and all newspapers they got, and I spent many happy hours in her closed-in back porch (where she kept them), reading one strip after another. Too bad I couldn't get them before she died.
