Sunday Meskin Measures.
Good news! Mort Meskin has recieved a place in the Comic Book Hall of Fame. After years of being nominated but not placed, he finally got in. Maybe now DC will start mentioning him on the back of their Showcase books along with John Giunta and Bill Ely.
Two Mort Meskin stories from the period he alreay worked for DC. He is in issue #2 as well, with two stories. Are these inventory stories that were used for a new magazine by Prize? He is using a totally different style here from any of his current work. I have a suspicion that Bill Draut was involded, but with an artist as adapatble as Meskin I don't know.

Fascinating! These both are Meskin BUT...definitely another hand, the rendering is so tight and clean. But mainly, the POV doesn't look like Mort's, very straight forward. In fact, to my eye, it looks like Kirby!
I'd say Draut, but they are also slightly different from each other.
