I don't know what the relationship between the True Comics comic book and the newspaper version was. I know the comic books I have seen, were less focussed on the war than these Sundays. In 1945 Joe Simon is supposed to have done some of these. I have seen none of those but get the impression they were all reprinted in a True comic book special.
I see I have done some of these before, but at least some are new. Then again, in the previous post there are also more color samples...
