Friday Comic Book Day.
Another early Joe Kubert story, this time form the first run of Hawkman which made him famous among his compatriots. In the early days of fandom these forties DC books were among the most sought after and the prices are still among the highest in the Price Guide. But if you look at the number of copies that actually sold on EBay, you'll see that the demand for anything that doesn't have one of the main characters is dropping. It seems DC's efforts to stress characters over creators is slowly paying off.
