Saturday Leftover Day.
I have shown many samples of my secret collection of strips from the Air Forse newspaper produced by the Bradbury company from 1955 to well into the sixties. I kept one set of them apart, the strips that were done by Jack O'Brien. O'Brien was a prolific cartoon artist who worked from the forties while he was still in the army. Around the late fifties he became mre active, possibly because he only left the army by then. He worked mainly at Charlton, but his cheap and easy cartoons were everywhere. He may not have been the best artist around, but he had a quick mind and seems to have had a jike for every ocasion. He had several series in the AAFF apers and stayed with them until the end.
