Stan Randall was a Johstone and Cushing regular, where he drew a lot of Sunday newspaper ads in a funny style, that seemed to have it's roots in the Popeye/Jerrry on the Job/Right Around Home bigfoot style of the thirties and early forties. He was best known for imitation Right Around Home's busy pages of many characters for various products, before taking over that same strip between 1951 and 1953. I did not know he also did this gag strip for the mostly reprint comic Popular - where he seems to have leaned to the Popeye part of that style, with a hint of Alley Oop.
