No Brainer

The Brain was a delightful comic book series by Dan deCarlo for Magazine Enterprizes. They have never been collected, but the are known with the fans. Les known is the fact that there were two Brain stories in a companion titl called Clubhouse Rascals. Listed in the GCD, but rarely seen.

Yesterday I showed stories from Dan DeCarlo's The Brain #1. In the same issue was another story, which I am showing here. Over at the CGD it has no attrubution, but my guess is, it's by Mell Casson. Of course, there were a lot of people doing this sort of Dennis the Menace knock-off, so I could be wrong.

I don't know how IDW packaging of Dan DeCarlo's Jetta sold, but ever there was another Dan DeCarlo series derserving that treatment its... well, scrap that, in fact it is all of them. But here's a series that is funny, different and has a style all of it's own. again, like all Dan DeCarlo series, I guess.
