I really like this slent strip by British artist George Martin. Not as subversive as Garry Hanlan's Louie, but certainly not as dull as some of the other silent strips that were around at that time. In fact, I see a definite link between these gags and those of Italian artist Jacovitti in the late sixties.

Be Vewwy Vewwy Quiet
Tuesday Comic Strip Day.
When I first showed a couple of months worth of this little gem of a silent strip, I was told in the comments section that it was written and drawn by British cartoonist George Martin. Peter Gray shows a lot of his work for British funnybooks, but I find none of it as exciting as this silent gem, which aparntly ran for over thirty years.
