Jitterbug

Saturday Leftover Day.

Alerted by one of my visitors that the new M. Coffee Nerves strips I had scanned in went by the name of Mr. Caffeine Nerves, I went back and got some more samples. I found three more in 1939, similar to the ones from my own collection. After that, in 1940, there seems to have been a brief period when the Postum ads were accompanied by wash llustrations. These were used all through 1940, whil new Sickles/Caniff ads were employed as well. I am showing a daily version as well as a Sunday version of one f them. After that, in 1941 an 1942 news approaches were tried. The last ones in 1942 didn't even use Mr. T. N. Coffee Nerves anymore.
