Slowest Post Ever
Sunday Quick Fix
I am still not completely well. In fact next Monday I will be going to hospital for a couple of scans, to see what the hell is wrong with me. I would like nothing more than resume posting stuff on this blog. I have recieved a couple of choice contributions that I would love to share. But it may ake some time before we get there. So today I am sharing another installment in one of my most popular series: Mort Meskin's run on Johnny Quick in DC's Adventure Comics.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling better. Maybe one of these potions of concentrated vitamins and calories will help you.
When you're feeling better maybe you can explain this story to me. How much of it was supposed to have been dreamed? Or is Johnny lying?
Ger, unless you find posting here therapeutic, Stay the H_ll away until you are well!
I hope that the hospital visit gets to the bottom of things. Until then, just take things as easy as you can.
There's an error in the presentation here; page 26 was repeated in place of page 27.
But let's leave it until Ger is well!
In fact, my doctor has advised me to resume snyhing that makes me happy. So this blog certainly qualifies.
My main problem is practical. I have lost the finer motor skills on my left hand, which makes typing very difficult.
Well, I'm glad that the 'blog is not a drain on you.
Meanwhile, dropping the scan labelled "Page 26" didn't resolve the problem, which was that the scan (mis)labelled "Page 27" was a duplicate of "Page 26", and the appropriate scan was absent.
Here's how things presently stand:
"Page 19" -- story page 1
"Page 20" -- story page 2
"Page 21" -- story page 3
"Page 22" -- story page 4
"Page 23" -- story page 5
"Page 24" -- story page 6
"Page 25" -- story page 7
"Page 26" -- deleted, was story page 8
"Page 27" -- story page 8
[missing] -- story page 9
"Page 28" -- story page 10
Hence Smurfswacker's problem following the story.
I noticed the double page, but not the jump to page 20. I checked and he problem is with my source for the scans. I guess we'll have to wait until the 'Simon and Kirby's Sandman' style rrprint book from DC (which I certsinly would buy).
Pag 10! Typo's, typo's.
What a treat,I'm so glad you created this blog for all of us to enjoy.
Get well
Thanks again
Great Blog. Hope you are feeling better soon X
