Monday Cartoon Day.

I am so glad I finally got a new big scanner. It is a great help with all my Sunday pages. Now I don't have to stitch them together again. Scanning cartoons from magazines, though, is stillas mch work as usual. I thought I'd give you a selection of Virgil Partch cartoons from True magazine, but I ended up doing only a fraction of the stack next to my chair in my office. Thankfully, Partch was the cartoon editor for True for more than 15 years and as such he contributed not only two to four cartoons every issue, but also the illustrations on the letter's page. These are the greatest samples you can get of VIP's pure cartooning skills, as he is no longer hindered by the need to make a verbal joke and instead just let's his imagination fly...
