When in Rome...

Even though the scans are not the best possible, this story gives you a chance to have a closer look at Meskin's inking style, which began to become more and more impressionistic. It is not hard to see the link to Alex Toth's later stark black and white style, eventhough Meskin's style always remained a bit 'messyer'

When I was a child, I liked the fact that Johnny Quick's adventures did not have a forced tension to them, and he had a pretty good costume.

BTW, the measured speed of flies was way off. The body of a fly is far too weak to survive super-sonic travel, under its own power or otherwise.
