Partch-work Guild

Monday Cartoon Day

I promised Michael Lynch I'd show a few cartoons by Hamilton Green today. And although I am sure I see them all the time, I must admit I couldn't find any offhand among the stacks of magazines waiting to be scanned. So instead I scanned a new load of supreme cartooning by the most influential and funny caroonist of the forties and the fifties, Virgil Partch. After the cartoons are his letter page illustrations for the same issues, showing even more of his unique cartoon mind.
