Some more Captain Tootsie ads. These are from the first twenty issues if DC's Big Town. There are many many more where these came from (but at least not from these titles). There are two doubles, I see. So these ads were repeated in several titles.

I am surprised Beck contributed to anything DC at that point.
Well, these ads appeard in all sorts of comics and as far as I know, they were recut from newspaper versions, so I don't think Beck had much to say about it. Having said that, I have only seen them in DC books in this period. The earlier ones were pblished in Timely's books as wel. I don't know if they even appeared in Fawcett books.
I looked a bit more into it and apparently Beck didn`t even notice the whole DC vs. Fawcett thing, he just noticed that Fawcett left high and dry.
