Scraping the Barrow

Monday Cartoon Day.

The Associated Press service only employed the best cartoonists for their features. Noel Sickles, Milton Caniff, Mel Graff, Hank Barrow... Hank Barrow? Who's he? Barrow was an AP staff artist in the late thirties and all through teh forties. He did the funny prediction Sunday feature Things To Come for a short period. I know little of him, except for the fe samples of his work I have shown over the year. Here are some more I came across.

In 1948 his cartoons turn up in the Try City Herald in 1948, where he is phased out in August 1949 by another AP staffer, Morris. I have no idea what he did after that.
