Sunday Meskin Measures.
Thanks to Sandy I am able to show you the Vigilante story for Action Comics #99 after all. I am very glad to be able to do that, because it is in these years that you see Meskin's style growing the quickest. Over the next twenty weeks, we will see the Mort Meskin from the fifties emerge. I know some people love and prefer the earlier Meskin, with his bravure chiascuro effects, but oevr the years his drawing couldn't help but get better and it had a profound effect on his style.

This sort of story puts me off the hero. Look at what has happened at the end: Slasher has in fact stolen the gambler's US$10K (because he is forced to use his wish to deal with Slasher) and destroyed the man's home!
I just find it incredibly funny that Stuff is now short for Short Stuff.
