Here's a selection of Pictorial Review covers by Bud Blake I am quite proud of. Until I started this blog I neer saw any of Bus Blake's cartoon work anywhere. So far, I have been able to show huge amounts of his 1954/65 daily cartoon series that went under several names but in the end came to be known as Ever Happen To You? I unearthed some of his advertising work. And I collected as many of his Pictorial Review covers as possible. Today I have six more of these beauties. I have added whetever I had in my older posts, giving you a long run of excellence. What magazine would not have wanted these funny and fresh and colorful gags on their cover? I still think that a larger collection of Blake's cartoon work is in order and whoever did that, would be silly not to include any of these. The problem probably is t find a collector with a nice run of them. Well, at least there are these...
