Junior Partner

Wednesday Illustration Day.

Dick Hodgins Jr. is an American cartoonist, who at one point was part of the team doing Hagar the Horrible. I don't know if he still is, but he could well be. His other newspaper strip fame comes from drawing Hank Ketcham's Half-Hitch in the seventies. I have a lare of of them waiting to be scanned in, but I have added some of the other stuff I had lying around. The main reason for doing this post is, I ran across some of Hodgins editorial cartoon work from the late fifties and early sixties. There must be more about, but I have to come across them. The last illustration is from Boy's Life, who seemed to use everyo eevery once in awhile.

Dick Hodgins also drew the "Henry" comic strip for several years.

Yeah, I knew. But I rate that so low, I hadn't mentioned it.
