Just Boltinoff
Monday Cartoon Day.
Having all of Collier's as my playground has surely filled my coffers with a lot of good stuff. So today, I will share a crop of Henry Boltinoff cartoons from the mid foties. Boltinof is best know for his many one and half pagers for the DC titles of the forties, fifties and the sixties, but before that (and during) he had been doing gag cartoons since the late thirties. A prolific artist, he had a surprisingly modern style in his early years. And if his jokes may have seemed a bit oldfashioned in the sixties, he had a few years under his belt by then.
