Monday Cartoon Day.
The last time I shared a couple of AP regular Hank Barrow's cartoons, they were from the late fortie, when he had left AP to work for a daily newspaper. These are earlier. The first four are from a large selection I have from 1942 - all waiting to be scanned. This is from the period just after he took over from Noel Sickles. Barrow was a remarkable stylist, who had also taken over Milton Caniff's daily panel The Gay Thirties. For more see the tags.
