In Darkest Night...
Thursday Story Strip Day.
I was so pleased with myself, that I had found a new source for black and white copies of Ray Bailey's Bruce Gentry Sundays. But the further I came, the more I remembered having seen them before and not having clipped them because of the quality. Bruce Gentry was a very colorful strip and most of the black and white Sundays I have seen are too black to properly enjoy. But these are even worse, it seems they get blacker and blacker with every strip. I have a few from 950 that are completely illegable. So until I find a nice color run somewhere or someone comes forward with usable scans, this will have to be a short but sweet sampling.

I love anything Bailey you post! In fact, I kind of watch for it. Thank you!
Dark Bailey is better than no Bailey. Merci.
THis run goes on to 1950, getting darker and darker. At the end, there are pages were the only thing visible is the text! And even then...!
I do have more dailies, though and will post them as soon as I have a good run.
I have been actively trying to get Bruce Gentry Sundays, but on ebay tehre were severla bidders, all willing to go further than I was and one seller I contacted had just sold all of his Bialey material. I can only hope one of these guys will someday contact me.
