Grand Slam Master

Tuesday Comic Strip Days.

Haven't done a lot of B.C. lately. This little sarcastic strip about early humans has always been one of my faorites. I have shown so manu samples over the years I may eve have got a double one here or there. But at least as far as two years back, I don't see any from 1959. So here we are, the second year of the stri.At the end I am also sharing a set of recently made scans from 1961 Sundays, si of that;'s what you like, just scroll adead.

I've always liked Hart's earlier days on the strip..It was probably one of the most anarchic strips on the comics page. I can't figure out the gag on the 10/2 strip, though. (the one with BC looking at a dam) Are you going to show more early TUMBLEWEEDS again soon?

A Dutch friend of mine is going to do a book with a whole year of Sunays of Tumbleweeds. I will advertise that. I do have about two years orth of early Tumble weeds Sundays waiting to be scanned, as well as many more B.C.'s. All in good time.

As for the gag: maybe he is looking for a place where he can cross it? Or, since he built the damn (darn) in the gag before that, he is going back to build another one?
