These are for my friend Alex van Kooten and because you can never have too much Jerry Robinson. What is remarkable here, is not the quality of the stories or the artwork, but the fact that no one was doing this level of work at that time. Robinson was at least six yeras ahead of everyone here. Also, it is good to see his own style here. So we can see what he was cpable of when he wasn't working with Mort Meskin (as he was a cuple of years before this) or with the assistance of Bob Forgione (as he was doing a couple of years after this.
