Before he worked for Playboy, Jack Davis drew illustrations for the Playboy imitator Cavalier. These funny and very busy illustrations predate his similar work for movie posters and the TV Guide. Although Jack Davs didn't invent the 'everybody run'movie postre, he certainly made it into one of the most used comedy movie signifyers.

Great stuff by Jack Davis... I had never seen any of this stuff before. I'm sure there's still material out there for yet another art book on Jack Davis!
