I love Brer Rabbit. In the sixties the Sundays of this strip were collected into an album here in Holland and it was one of the first books that made me cry. A story about Brer Rabbit faking his own death and all his friends gathering together to remember him... sad, sad stuff. The early years of this strip were drwn by Dick Moores and are of a touh above the others, but that one story just got to me.

Thanks for posting these Ger! Would love to see them in color! Been really getting into the Disney stuff as late, maybe because the great reprint books Fantagraphics has been producing! Collecting strip in to a book would be fine by me!
