I got a couple of British comics from the fifties that feature comedians. Most of them seem to have been drawn by the great Roy Wilson, but there are less obvious cases as well. Here are two samples, more later. Plus some observations about the relatio between the American screwball strip of the thirties and forties and the 'British' humor tradition.
