Going thrugh my collection, I realized I (probably) haven's shown you the remainder of the Mort Meskin Vigilante stories from Western Comics #2 to #4. I will be selling those books on ebay, by the way, as soon as I have some time to set it up.

Thanks for The Vigilante! If you can, would you please consider posting some of the early Wyoming Kid stories? Many thanks!
By Howard Sherman? May I know why?
Yes, by Sherman. I am a big fan of Bill Everett's (along with of Meskin!). Until I found your blog, I did not know about Western Comics, nor the Wyoming Kid, but when I googled the title, I saw some fantastic splash pages by Sherman. I think his art of the time is very similar to Everett's of the time: the expression of the faces, the posing of the bodies, the meld between cartooning and comic rendering. I'd love to be able to read a whole story (or two?) by him.
Thanks for your consideration, and for your blog!
patrick
I can certainly do that for you.
