How about we start the week with some Hank Ketcham cartoons? These were all done for American Legion, a monthly rightwing magazine for (ex)military. I don't know if American Legion was one of the better paying magazines, but they sure had a great crosssection of talent working for them. I once asked Jack Mendelsohn if politic were a consideration when sending cartoon, but he said a sale was a sale. And even among the New York leftwing clique no one ever looked twice at you for selling to a magazine such as that.
