Saturday Leftover Day.
Al Jaffee drew Tall Tales from 1959 to 1964. The means new silent gag every day for almost five years, plus the Sunday of course (many of which I have shown here, with more to come). In the later years he was asked by his main paper, The New York Tribune, to add dialogue. As he tells the story, he lost all is foreign sales and soon after all the fun went out of it. So here are a couple of the later ones.
