Saturday Leftover Day.

Scanning old magazines yesterday, I came across this nice Disney-related item. For all Fantasia lovers.

Hi, I work on old comics and I'm writing from Italy.
Unfortunately I didn't found your email on web.
I want to talk you for an important matter about ancient comics for which I need help.
My name is Federico Provenzano (I wrote/traslated a book about William Ward and one about Al Taliaferro) and my email is: mozenrathottantas@libero.it
Can you write to me or send me your email? Thank you!,

Federico Provenzano

"Opens Up New Paths to Television" in 1940? I guess this means the visuals to the music...it couldn't mean television as we know it today.

The cover is interesting. Why would they decide to go with a photo of the animator's ceramic figurine and build a background set instead of using some of the great cel artwork from the movie? Was it ever considered they would do one sequence of Fantasia as a George Pal-type stop-motion animation?
