Monday Cartoon Day.
As I said last Monday, I have been scanning and cleaning gags by Henry Boltinoff. Last week I shared some of his work from the early forties, here is a run from 1949 and some other early ones I had lying around. There's also a newspaper account of his brother Murray's stay at Camp Maxey, which is the same camp Harvey Kurtzman was at in the summer of 1945. Murray ended up being an editor at DC, but I don't know if he had anything to do with Kurtzman producing fillers for DC around 1950 or so.
