After showing all these Sunday pages from Hap Hopper and his illustration work for Story-A-Day, I feel I have to show some of his much more mundane comic book work from the early fifties for companies such as Harvey). Why he turned to comics after doing to newspaper strips (Hopper and Claire Voyant) and why he settle down in such a lackluster style, I don't know. Clearly a talented artist, he didn't seem to get another break.
