Messin' About

Sunday More Easy Measures.

How do you replace Mort Meskin. Well, you don't. So I am still looking around. Since I have always been a fan of the fifties work of Pete Morisi and he seems to have worked for almost every other company undocumented, I will start with some of his rarer stuff. Here he is in the last issue of Black Diamond Western.

Hi Ger!

I noticed that you reprinted some PAM stories on your blog recently. I thought you might be interested that I’ve got my hands on correspondence between a fan (who sent me copies) and Pete, that ranged from 1964 to Pete's death in 2003. Matter of fact, I’ll be printing some in Alter Ego #148-150 a few months from now. Fascinating behind-the-scenes stuff, which I’m sure you’ll enjoy!

Best wishes,

Michael T.

Great Mike! I have not ben seeing the Twomorrows magazines lately, because my online subscriptions (which I got in lieu of payment for artciles) for Alter Ego, Draw! and Back issue stopped before they ran out. I contacted Jon twice and he sent me missing issues twice, but then it stopped again. I don't mind paying for my isues but now I don't know where to start and I am too ashamed to adress the obvious computer glitch for a third time. Posts like this remind me I really should.
