Monday Cartoon Day.
I would like to reinstate Monday Cartoon Day as my third day of posting every week. I hope you will visit often to see what I have for you.
Looking for Mort Walker cartoons in online issues of Collier's between 1951 and 1953, I came a cross a set of Hank Ketcham cartoons, which I shred last week. Today I am adding even more cartoons and illustrated columns by Virgil Partch, another Collier's regular. I absolutely adore the uniqueness and absurdity of this earlier part of his career. In April 1951 he got his own regular feature called VIP war, where he could recycle old war time gags. Good for him as a regular income, but sadly not as weird as his 'free' work.
