Rare As Hen's Toth

I have already shown all of my Alex Toth scans from DC's Johnny Thunder, but of course the srries also ran in All-American Western.

Johnny Thunder (and here is an excellent example) I believe more than Jimmy Wakely, supports the opinion of those who maintain Alex Toth’s best work was in doing westerns (my favourite is Zorro). On the other hand, surviving interviews of Toth evidences his inclination more toward romances as a favourite genre, partly because of (I understand him to say) the greater challenge it gave him facing the complexity of trying to portray people’s partially hidden thoughts and emotions.
