Ali B. In The Land Of Wonder

Thursday Story Strip Day.

After Alice in Wonderland Chad Grothkopf did a couple more classic stories. For Ali Baba he veered towards a more realistic style. I had a look to see if my earlier run of black and white microfiche scans had any extra, but they are the same set , so this may in fact be the whole story.

Another Bighead

Friday Comic Book Day.

Last week I showed Chad Grothkopf's version of Alice in Wonderland, as published in the Famous Fiction newspaper strip series and as a comic book. What I didn't know, is that there also was a version of Alice's second adventure by Grothkopf, which only appeared in comic form. And it might even be better.

Down The Rabbit Hole Once More

Tuesday Comic Strip Day.

The first of three stories Chad Grothkopf did for the Fanous Fiction Sunday series. I have shown a black and white version of this story before, but recently I got a stack of Sundays with almost all of them in color. Or at least, sort of, because there seems to have been some sort of printing strike during the last few. I have selected the missing pages from my previous post. And of course there was a complete comic book version, which I have added as well.
