Tuesday Comic Strip Day.
I am scanning some more Hi and Lois Sundays at the moment, but I regret to say I don't have a lot from the erliest years. The best years for me are those, when it still not a 'family' strip, but like the later Dick van Dyke Show a strip about a young urban family and all of their problems, including those of Hi at work. at the end of the fifties the boss and co-workers disappeared and the neighbour and the dustmen stayed at least until 1964. It all went downhill when Lois started working. But for a short period in the late fifties Hi and Lois was probably the best gag strip of it's time and maybe beyond that...
