A Few Points

Monday Cartoon Day.

Dave Gerard was a popular cartoonist from the forties to the seventes. He had several strip series, most notably Will-Yum, some of which I have shown here. In the early fifties he had a charming seriesabout the differences between men and women. Gerard's style is the perfect link between the older style of the thirties and the modern styles of the sixties.

Dave Gerard was a 1931 graduate of Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. He was also mayor of Crawfordsville from 1972 to 1976.
BTW, I live about 11 miles south of Crawfordsville.

So did anyone collect his doodles from the town hall meetings?
