The Pacquins ad series is a very good example of ads in the illustrator style. Weather these were actually done by an illustrator such as Gunnar Peterson (the first colored ample does have his look) or by a comic strip artist adopting this style (some of the later ones look as if that could be the case), they sure are pretty.
