Robinson Crucial

Thursday Late Reading Material.

Earlier this week I showed two Alfred stories by Jerry Robinson. I will be looking out for any others. Here are three more Robinson masterpieces. I have said it before and will say it again: in my opinion Robinson did his best solo work for Timely in the fifties, both in the early fifties, when his art was lightyears ahead of every and later on when he just through of these small gems in between his other more serious illustration work. It is not well remembered, not often reprinted and he has been done a huge disservice by those who only see how much it resembled the work of his pupil Steve Ditko.
