Drifting Along

Sunday Meskin Measures.

In Prize comics Western #115 Mort Meskin is present again with a slightly less impressive Drifter story. Although the stampede scene on -age four is pretty remarkable.

This seems like a very minor effort by Meskin. I've seen countless old comics drawn in this rushed, simple style, and never paid them much attention (don't like the artwork). Could they've been all by Meskin, or other artists not trying very hard?

Seems like a pure Meskin rush job. He deserves his status as a genius because he was so creative in cutting corners. Sometimes he was just cutting corners.
